Mr. McNierney is President and Chief Operating Officer of Gleacher & Company, Inc. He joined Gleacher & Company in 2002 as the Director of Investment Banking, and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Gleacher & Company Capital, Inc. from June 2006 until September 2007. Prior to joining Gleacher & Company, Mr. McNierney was a Managing Director of the Healthcare and Communications Services groups at Robertson Stephens. Prior to that, Mr. McNierney was a Vice President in the Healthcare Group at Smith Barney. Mr. McNierney received a BA and a JD/MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
