Mr. Berg joined Gleacher & Company in 2008 as Head of Bank Loan Trading. Prior to joining Gleacher & Company, Mr. Berg ran distressed loan trading for Barclays Capital. Mr. Berg previously ran distressed loan trading at CIBC where he was a Managing Director. Mr. Berg began his banking career in 2000 as an associate at Lehman Brothers. Previously he was a CPA within the public accounting sector at Coopers & Lybrand and Ernst & Young. Mr. Berg earned a BS in Accounting and Business Administration at the University of Southern California in 1991 followed by an MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago in 2000.
