Bob became the CEO when Broadpoint acquired American Technology Research, Inc. in October 2008. Bob joined Broadpoint as an Executive Managing Director and Head of its Equity Capital Markets division in June 2008. Prior to joining, Bob was Co-Head of Equities and Head of Institutional Sales at Cowen and Company. Prior to his experience at Cowen and Company, Bob served at SoundView Technology Group where he was an Executive Director and Head of Institutional Sales from April 2000 to October 2004. Prior to his promotion to Head of Institutional Sales, Bob was a salesman at SoundView Technology Group from July 1995 to April 2000.

Bob was graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a BA in Economics and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
